Mini Movers

Ages 2 - 3

Our Mini Movers class welcomes your little one into a world of gentle movement, imagination, and joyful exploration. Through music, creative play, and simple dance sequences, children develop body awareness, coordination, and confidence in a calm, nurturing environment.

Across our 9-session term, each session explores a new theme inspired by children’s natural curiosity. We provide all equipment needed - think costumes, scarves, instruments, ribbons, and more! We look forward to learning more about your child, and incorporating their personal interests into our classes.

This class is perfect for curious toddlers who love to wiggle, giggle, and move at their own pace.

Mighty Movers

Ages 3 - 5

Our Mighty Movers class supports your child as they grow in confidence, coordination, and creative expression. Through imaginative movement, playful storytelling, and beginner dance concepts, children explore how their bodies feel, move, balance, and flow.

Throughout the term, each class weaves together music, costumes, movement patterns, sensory props, and guided exploration to nurture both skill development and joyful discovery. Our sessions are deeply inspired by your child’s own unique interests — fairy-obsessed? We have the wings. Dinosaur lover? Get ready for a dino stomp.

Mindfulness and connection to the body are gently integrated through grounding activities and emotional expression games, helping children learn to regulate their nervous system, build resilience, and express big feelings with confidence.

FAQ's

Where are your classes held?

Our Classes are held at Mornington Park Pavilion at the beach end of Main Street.

How much are your classes?

Classes are $15 each when booking a term, and $18 when booking a casual class. Classes run for 45 minutes.

What should my child wear?

Your little one is welcome to wear whatever they choose, so long as it is safe and easy to move around in! We do request that clothing is kept above the knee to avoid tripping, so no long wide pants or long skirts. Apart from that, we welcome self expression through choice of clothing! Please keep hair back out of their eyes. Bare feet is best.

Should I stay during the class?

Parents/caregivers are welcome to join, or take a well-deserved break nearby! You know your child best and we will always work with you to make your child as comfortable as possible. Our classes are purposely kept small to avoid overwhelm, and allowing for more tailored support for each child.

Should I bring anything?

Please bring a wattle bottle, and your child's favourite stuffed toy.

teacher and children dancing

We honour the Bunurong people of the Kulin Nation, the first storytellers, dancers, and caretakers of the land on which we move.
On this Country - alive with the footsteps, rhythms, and spirit of countless generations - we recognise their enduring connection to land, waters, and sky.

We pay our deepest respects to Elders past and present, and to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
As we dance, we do so with gratitude, knowing our movements take place on land that has held culture, ceremony, and song long before us, and will long after.
